About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Didsbury Medical Centre. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our pharmacists, clinicians, and administration team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the clinical team in optimizing patient medication regimens to improve health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with community pharmacy, care homes, and hospitals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in medication audits and support the clinical team on prescribing projects.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the induction, education, and training of new practice staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Experience working in Primary care.
  • Previous experience using EMIS web.
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to record, analyze, and communicate information accurately.
  • Completion of or enrollment in an approved 18-month training pathway (Primary care pharmacy educational pathway (PCPEP) or Medicines Optimisation in Care Homes (MOCH)).
