About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Strategist to join our dynamic team at DB Schenker. As a Pricing Strategist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue and stay ahead in the competitive market.
• Collaborate closely with the team to review progress, update objectives, and manage pricing responsibilities effectively.
• Provide precise and timely quotations to sales staff, clients, and branches.
• Manage and share duties related to the pricing inbox and lend support to the RFQ (Request for Quotation) and Sales Teams on larger projects.
• Keep our buying tool up to date with the latest trucking rates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our operations.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of pricing, market trends, and industry dynamics.
• Previous experience in the land freight industry.
• Proactive and self-driven individual who takes initiative.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
