Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Team Lead to join our team in Nottingham. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our sales team, setting sales goals, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), developing sales strategies, and ensuring sales targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed expectations
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and drive sales growth
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Provide coaching and guidance to sales team members to help them achieve their sales targets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive sales growth and increase revenue
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the sales team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills

Requirements

  • Proven experience in internal sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to analyze sales data and provide strategic recommendations to drive business growth
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience in the catering or events industry is a plus, but not essential
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred but not essential
  • Proven track record of increasing conversion rates and driving sales growth
  • Experience as a player-coach, with the ability to hit sales targets and set examples for the team
  • Weekly coaching and KPI meetings to ensure the sales team is on track to meet sales targets
  • At least 3 years' experience as a sales team lead, with a proven track record of success
  • Ability to maintain 50-80k per rep per month as the team grows
