At Babcock, we're committed to creating a safe and secure world, together. As an RF Engineer at our Hawthorn site, you'll play a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing satellite networks' RF spectrum, producing classified-level reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct radio frequency propagation surveys to ensure optimal system performance
  • Provide forensic analytics to support evidential quality data across the spectrum
  • Assist in responding to interference and spectrum intrusion incidents
  • Offer expert advice to the MOD on RF-related matters

Requirements:

  • Practical knowledge of RF transmission systems, including frequency spectrum management
  • Expert-level understanding of radio frequency principles and their applications
  • Experience with the UK spectrum licensing regime, including OFCOM requirements
  • Knowledge of satellite communication systems and their integration with RF networks

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national, able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
