Key Responsibilities:


As a Commissioning Lead, you will:

  • Demonstrate extensive experience in managing commissioning services within the realm of Children's Services, showcasing a strong history of commercial leadership.
  • Hold a degree in health and social care or a related field.
  • Be accountable for the creation and execution of a comprehensive Children's and Young Person's Commissioning Strategy.
  • Collaborate with service providers to enhance local capacity, ensuring the commissioning of cost-effective services that yield positive and sustainable outcomes for children, young people, parents, and caregivers.
  • Oversee contracts and maintain relationships with providers across various markets.
  • Develop commissioning processes aimed at maximizing service delivery efficiency.
  • Effectively lead and manage a diverse team of 7 operational staff.

Preferred Experience:


We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (which can be facilitated).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
