Driver (Enforcement Vehicle) - Leicestershire County Council

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Driver (Enforcement Vehicle) at Leicestershire County Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving a County Council operated vehicle to Schools and other locations across Leicestershire during term time.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the Council's Camera Enforcement Vehicle based at County Hall and undertake planned patrols at various locations around the county, primarily at school start and finish times.
- Follow scheduled patrol routes to capture evidence of parking contraventions near schools, bus stops and other locations in accordance with the relevant policies, legislation, and procedures.
- Transfer data from a recording device to Council software at the end of each patrol.
- Drive vehicle(s) to and from maintenance depots for servicing and repairs when required and maintain the vehicle in a clean, hygienic, and tidy condition both inside and out at all times.
- Hold a Full valid UK driving licence and have access to a suitable vehicle.
- Have knowledge of the Highway Code and drive County Council vehicle(s) in a safe manner.
- Have basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and be able to undertake minor vehicle repairs with appropriate direction from the Council's Driver Vehicle Maintenance Team.
- Have good time keeping and be able to follow set programmes & instructions and use own initiative.
