Overview of the Role
As a vital member of the IPDU team, the Clinical Perfusion Specialist will oversee a range of initiatives aimed at enhancing the Trust's Improvement Strategy, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and aligning with our ambitious vision.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will employ standardized management methodologies, systems, and governance frameworks to lead and motivate teams towards achieving desired outcomes. This role requires collaboration with essential stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and uphold a consistent approach to program execution.
In partnership with the Deputy Director, the postholder will establish a continuous planning cycle, leveraging insights to identify opportunities both within the Trust and across the wider system, while fostering collaboration with key partners.
The role involves analyzing data from various insight-gathering initiatives aimed at understanding patient demographics, experiences, outcomes, and needs.
Quality and equity considerations will be integral at every phase of program development, with the postholder responsible for coordinating impact assessments and managing associated risks.
By utilizing best practice guidelines and fostering a culture of shared learning, the Clinical Perfusion Specialist will provide coaching and training throughout the organization, equipping teams with the necessary tools to enhance the execution of plans and drive innovation. Collaboration with departments focused on Quality Improvement, Transformation, and Finance will be essential in realizing the benefits of core initiatives.
