Job Title: Mechanical & Electrical Engineer (Day Shift)

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join our team on a full-time, day-shift basis. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of engineers on critical MOD projects, ensuring the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers on MOD projects.
  • Oversee and participate in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with MOD regulations and JSB 375 standards.
  • Implement and strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team.
  • Occasionally take part in on-call support during weekends.
Essential Requirements:
  • Security Clearance: High Level DV Security Clearance or recently lapsed DV clearance.
  • Nationality: Must be a UK Sole National.
  • Background: Strong experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Leadership: Proven track record in leading engineering teams.
  • Knowledge: Familiar with Electrical Authorised Person (AP) responsibilities.
  • Standards Compliance: Understanding of JSB 375 standards.
Desired Skills:
  • Certified or experienced as an Electrical Authorised Person (AP).
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with JSB 375 standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
