Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Room Preparation:
- Organize and set up the operating room in accordance with surgical protocols.
- Confirm that all necessary instruments and supplies are sterile and accessible.
- Assemble and maintain surgical trays and packs efficiently.
- Support During Surgical Procedures:
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff by passing instruments and supplies during operations.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical process.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide necessary support.
- Management of Instruments and Equipment:
- Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and organized.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of surgical tools.
