Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

About the Company
Hays Senior Finance is partnering with a prestigious Accountancy Firm renowned for its excellence throughout the South West. They are in the process of establishing a Tax Center of Excellence in Cardiff, supported by a workforce of over 500 professionals across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, managing all facets of taxation including compliance and various project initiatives as they arise.
  • Evaluate tax computations and collaborate with specialists on intricate technical issues.
  • Conduct research on technical matters and convey findings in a clear and practical manner.
  • Prepare tax disclosures for financial statements with precision.
  • Assist colleagues in navigating complex group structures and technical challenges.
  • Maintain knowledge of corporate interest restriction regulations, thin capitalization, and interest deductibility.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Finance team on due diligence assignments.
  • Deliver a high standard of client service and support.

Qualifications Required

  • Hold one of the following qualifications: ATT/CTA/ACCA/ACA.
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate tax compliance and/or advisory roles.
