About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Paint Prepper to join our prestigious Automotive client in the Woking area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a 2-week rotation, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow detailed work instructions for painting vehicles, ensuring all station operations are completed to the required quality standard.
  • Work as part of a team to define and solve problems affecting quality, cost, or productivity.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and undertake exterior prepping of vehicles for paint & polish using the correct materials and tools.
  • Inspect finished vehicles to ensure no defects, perfect finish every time.
  • Adhere to all requirements for hazardous or non-hazardous waste disposal.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within an automotive environment is an advantage.
  • Prior experience of working as part of a team and working to timescales would be beneficial.
  • Quality-focused with meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow processes set in place.
  • Prior experience with Inspecting finished vehicles to ensure no defects, perfect finish every time is an advantage.
Desirable Skills:
  • Prior experience of flattening, polishing, and touching up.
  • Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
  • Ensuring there are no defects on work produced.
