Senior Finance Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our team and play a key role in our continued success. As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial oversight and guidance to a business unit, ensuring effective delivery of financial reporting, controls, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver monthly reporting to the Head of Finance for group consolidated reporting.
  • Financial Controls: Design and implement accounting processes for the business unit, ensuring effective financial controls are in place.
  • M&A Support: Support the M&A team as required, including M&A Integration, Completion Accounts, and ongoing vendor statements.
  • Loan Management: Oversight of the loans scheme, reviewing SPP loan applications and submitting these to the Credit Committee for approval.
  • Cash Flow Management: Business unit cash flow management, including cash flow forecasting.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Financial and regulatory reporting, including VAT returns, PAYE/RTI, Corporation Tax, ERS reporting, and any other external financial reporting as may be required for the business unit.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced role at Finance Manager level and above, with experience of managing a team.
  • ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally from a top-tier firm of accountants with commercial post-qualification experience.
  • A graduate with strong academic results.
  • Able to design and implement processes and make a role your own.
  • Energy and passion, with the ability to be self-led to drive and iterate positive change and improvement.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to communicate with departments across the business, at all levels.
