Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our established ledger team as we embark on a period of growth and expansion. As a key member of our accounts team, you will be responsible for managing the credit control function across our UK and overseas sites.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the credit control process, including conducting credit checks, chasing payments, and resolving invoice queries and payments.
- Allocate customer receipts, including complex settlement discount structures.
- Liaise with UK and overseas sales colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Prepare sales receipt forecasts and highlight debtor problems to management.
- Perform month-end reconciliations, debit note and credit note processing, and customer rebate management.
- Qualified by experience and able to offer a flexible approach and strong organisational skills.
- Confident working with multiple IT systems, including MS Office, Power BI, and E8, with good Excel skills and ability to adapt to change positively.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Good people engagement and communication skills in all areas of the business.
- Experience of cashbook, daily banking, and general ledger work to provide holiday cover within the ledger team.
- Capable of ledger management and fundamental accounting practices.
