About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IPS Employment Specialist to join our team at Shaw Trust. As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will work with individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of individuals to provide person-centred advice and guidance to support them in securing employment.
  • Deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach, providing training and support to individuals and employers.
  • Build positive relationships with local employers and stakeholders to enable individuals to move into suitable employment.
  • Work embedded within Primary Care, GP practices, Community Health Teams, Job Centres, and the wider community to support participants on their recovery journey.

Requirements

  • Experience of delivering IPS or similar employment support programmes.
  • Proven experience of supporting individuals to obtain or keep work.
  • Proven experience of meeting and exceeding outcomes and targets.
