This position necessitates a commitment of 3 to 4 days per week onsite in Ipswich, with potential for full weeks during critical project phases and workshops.

We are in search of an experienced SAP S4HANA Functional Solution Architect. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining our SAP ecosystem, offering expert advice on solution architecture, enhancing business processes, and ensuring adherence to industry standards. A profound knowledge of SAP S4HANA modules such as SD, MM, PP, and QM is essential, along with a proven history of successful implementations and the capability to convert business needs into effective SAP solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to evaluate comprehensive processes and modules like SD, MM, and PP.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of overall SAP implementation and support experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in S/4HANA, including hands-on implementation.
  • Experience in Discrete/Industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with S/4HANA Best Practices and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Knowledgeable in Agile and Activate methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Lead the architecture of SAP S4HANA solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Business Process Enhancement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze processes, providing expert advice on utilizing SAP S4HANA capabilities to optimize operations.
  • Module Expertise: Maintain extensive knowledge of various SAP S4HANA modules, such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales, offering guidance on module-specific functionalities.
  • Demonstrated experience as a solution architect in at least three SAP S4HANA implementation projects.
  • Proven track record of executing multiple S4HANA implementation and rollout projects across Europe, particularly in the UK and France.
  • Responsible for architecting, designing, and facilitating the development of innovative solutions centered around SAP S/4HANA.
  • Engage with teams across different geographical locations.
  • Lead discussions on business requirements with clients to implement S/4HANA solutions.
  • Provide a robust technical understanding of the product, demonstrating how it can be configured to meet specific business needs.
  • Stay informed about the SAP roadmap for S/4HANA, becoming a trusted advisor for clients in their S/4HANA journey.
  • Review project deliverables, such as business process design documents, to ensure they meet project objectives.
  • Possess a deep understanding of integration with other systems.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of processes and configurations in at least one area, with working knowledge in others, such as Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Management, and Warehouse Management.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
