About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist physiotherapy assessment and interventions to children with complex needs, as well as leading the clinical development of staff and the growth and development of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and interventions to children with complex needs
- Lead the clinical development of staff and the growth and development of the service
- Manage a complex caseload of approximately 30-50% billable units per day
- Use expert clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and advanced objective assessment skills for children with complex difficulties
- Provide supervision to junior and senior therapists
- Support the Head of Therapies in overseeing the organisation and management of the Paediatric and Women's Health Physiotherapy team
- BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
- Current registered member of Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- At least 6 years' experience working as a Paediatric Physiotherapist in acute, community and/or education setting
- Previous experience of people management and leading a team
- Knowledge and application of paediatric physio assessments and interventions relevant to a Paediatric client group
