Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital | Permanent Contract | Full-Time

Salary £40,000 - £47,500 per annum (dependent on experience)

37.5 hours per week

About the Role

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a diverse patient caseload.

  • Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within the scope of practice.

  • Work collaboratively with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment, and facilities.

  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues.

  • Responsible for MRI safety in line with local regulations.

  • Work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the HCPC code of conduct.

  • Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programs.

  • Provide support to Clinical Lead Radiographers.

  • Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy.

  • Competency in intravenous cannulation and administration of contrast media is essential.

  • Provide input to the review, update, and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.

  • Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures.

  • Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.

  • Participate in on-call rota.
