Role Description

The opportunity is to join Capco's core and continuously growing Capital Markets Domain as a Management Consultant. The role will entail working across all types of financial institutions in the market to support them navigate and deliver against key market objectives. This can range from:

  • Compliance with regulatory obligations against tight deadlines.
  • Operating model reviews to assess positioning relative to market and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Delivering on key business change initiatives.

In order to support our clients, we need people who have a deep understanding of capital markets/investment banking coupled with strong change management experience and prior demonstrable success, either as a management consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution.

This role allows you to deliver as part of a long-term strategic partnership with our clients, whilst developing within a forward-thinking and entrepreneurial business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Conduct operating model reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement business change initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the capital markets domain with front-to-back knowledge of organizations.
  • Key areas of product knowledge to include OTC derivatives, fixed income, and equities.
  • An understanding of the key market, global, and regulatory drivers shaping the industry.
  • Experience gained in either consulting or industry with exposure to shaping and delivering significant programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Demonstrable expertise in building and leveraging relationships to support growth.
