The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production processes are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Reporting to the Managing Director, the Production Operations Manager will have the responsibility for operational leadership and ensuring our products are produced in the most efficient way to meet both internal and external customer expectations, delivered correctly, on time and in full.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Managing key KPIs (People, Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery) to meet business objectives.
- Process Optimization: Exceeding customer expectations by streamlining processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall efficiencies.
- Lean Manufacturing: Implementing Lean Manufacturing methodologies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Performance: Ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental performance and compliance.
- Team Management: Building strong internal relationships with other departments and managing a team of production staff.
- Resource Management: Managing resources, labor utilization, and performance management.
- Training and Development: Training, coaching, mentoring, and developing your team.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 5 years' experience in a similar role in a medium to high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Organized, able to prioritize to achieve required results, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
