We are seeking a highly skilled Family Law Solicitor to join our team at Browns Recruitment Consultancy Ltd. As a key member of our Family Team, you will be responsible for supporting the Partner in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a mixed caseload of family law matters, including divorce, civil partnership dissolution, financial settlements, and child arrangements.
- Develop and maintain a network of clients and referrers, growing our business development strategy and family team practice.
- Assist the Partner in evolving the business development strategy and growing the family team practice.
- Provide exceptional advocacy in the courts, including directions hearings.
- Qualified solicitor or professional equivalent with a strong understanding of family law.
- Excellent knowledge of the law relating to family finances, separation, and breakdown.
- Experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and advocacy.
- Strong billing and financial hygiene skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional and client relationships.
- Up-to-date understanding and commitment to risk management and compliance.
- Proficient in IT applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Commercial and creative mindset.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to identify problems, recommend solutions, and work on own initiative.
- Keen interest in business development and marketing.
- Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
