Senior Associate - Transactional Tax
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Transactional Tax team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax law and a proven track record of advising on complex tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on a broad range of tax matters, including M&A, finance, and real estate transactions.
- Managing matters with light-touch supervision.
- Advising on the tax aspects of private M&A transactions from the perspective of financial sponsors, corporate shareholders, management teams, and finance providers.
- Providing tax advisory work to corporate clients.
- Collaborating with other sub-groups within the Tax team, such as Asset Management and Incentives and Remuneration, when appropriate.
Person Specification:
- Qualifications: UK Qualified Solicitor with a strong academic record.
- Experience: Experience in transactional tax (M&A, finance, real estate) commensurate with PQE level. Substantive experience in Real Estate Tax is advantageous.
