About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our EMIS X Analytics team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in building a world-class data platform that transforms the health and lives of those around us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers and partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with other tech teams and business functions to drive forward results and improve the overall performance of our data platform.
  • Collaborate with our customers to understand their needs and settings, and use this knowledge to build high-quality healthcare products that meet their requirements.
  • Implement fast, secure, and efficient data pipelines and storage solutions that ensure long-term scalability and maintainability of our Analytics Platform.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in software development, with a strong background in cloud technologies (AWS preferred but not required).
  • Technical competence in languages such as Python, Java, or.Net, with experience in Agile development methodologies.
  • Passion for technology and a commitment to staying up-to-date with market and industry trends.
  • Experience with data storage technologies, such as Delta Lake, Iceberg, and Hudi.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Apache Spark, Databricks, or Hadoop.
