Maintenance Supervisor

Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be instrumental in the future development and support of the site, supporting the business to implement a continuous improvement strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of diverse equipment, ensuring it is in good condition and operating at peak efficiency.
  • Manage planned and reactive maintenance duties of the site and plant, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), defect and risk management, breakdowns, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and project engineering work.
  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities for improvement, ensuring the maintenance team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the operations team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory or similar role.
  • A background in a trade profession.
  • A proven track record of managing the maintenance of buildings, machinery, and equipment, ideally in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance best practices.
  • The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
