About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Fairmile Grange Care Home. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents, leading by example and providing guidance to your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to ensure appropriate care is planned, implemented, and evaluated.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, including GPs and case managers, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, carers, and the multi-professional team to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, providing verbal and written feedback as required.
  • Utilize information and IT systems to secure accurate and timely resident, workforce, and resource data.
  • Integrate current knowledge of dementia and caring into practice, informed by research and other forms of evidence.
  • Participate in and/or lead formal training, disseminating nursing work and promoting best practice in dementia care.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a registered nurse.
  • Experience within a health and social care setting with older people.
  • A clear understanding of CQC standards and legislation.
  • A strong leader, highly clinically skilled, well-organized, and able to take the lead.
  • Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding.
  • Good IT skills and confidence in computer-based work.
  • Able to inspire, motivate, and lead by example.
  • Flexible approach to the rota to meet the needs of the home.
