The successful candidate will work in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality products. Key responsibilities include:
- Laminating and Tooling: Perform a range of laminating processes, including wet-lay, infusion, vac-bagging, pre-preg, or RTM, across various products.
- Specification Review: Read and understand lay-up specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Quality Control: Check information on drawings, route card instructions, and processes to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with the QA team to ensure effective manufacturing processes, adhere to ISO standards, and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in the Marine, Aerospace, Automotive, or other quality-driven industry.
- Familiarity with pre-preg autoclave processes and materials, such as carbon and glass.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy levels.
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions/manuals.
- Good verbal communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred qualifications include motorsport/automotive composite experience and the ability to read engineering drawings.
