Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Automation Experts Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and commissioning control systems for various industrial applications. This includes configuring and testing PLC and SCADA software, producing specifications and design documentation, and working on projects through their complete lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and develop PLC and SCADA software for a wide range of applications
  • Produce detailed specifications and design documentation
  • Test and commission systems across the UK
  • Work on projects from concept to completion

Requirements

  • Previous experience in real-time control systems design and commissioning
  • Strong ability with PLC software design
  • SCADA software design ability highly advantageous, but essential for senior-level Engineers
  • Flexible for up to 20% UK travel for site visits and commissioning
  • Previous experience working as a Control Systems Engineer in a systems integration environment
  • Excellent networking skills
  • Ability to complete all documentation, including FDS and FAT/SAT

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with PLC software from Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Schneider
  • Knowledge of HMI/SCADA software from Rockwell FTView ME & SE, AVEVA InTouch & System Platform, Schneider ClearSCADA GEiFIX, and Siemens WinCC
