As a Supportive Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of our dedicated teams, providing essential support to individuals in need at Castle Court.

Your role will involve:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting individuals with personal hygiene, household tasks, medication management, and health-related activities according to personalized care plans.
  • Supporting social and emotional well-being through meaningful interactions.
  • Helping individuals maintain their independence through various tasks.
  • Documenting care activities, including Personal Service Plans and reviews.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, external agencies, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Upholding the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to departmental record-keeping protocols.
  • Engaging in additional duties as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in caregiving, whether through employment, volunteering, or personal experience.
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of vulnerable individuals.
  • Strong communication skills to connect with a diverse range of clients.
  • Commitment to treating others with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to follow established routines and care plans while monitoring changes in individual conditions.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
