Vehicle Technician Job Description

Pembrook Resourcing is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client, a reputable dealership. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customers' vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with customer vehicles.
  • Plan and schedule repair procedures to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain recommended work and completed repairs.
  • Test and verify the functionality of vehicle parts and systems.
  • Perform routine vehicle service and maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tyre rotations.
  • Explain automotive repairs and issues to customers, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other critical components.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic role.
  • Hold a minimum of Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds Certification.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of diagnostic tools.
