About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in the inpatient wards of the Julian Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting patients in their recovery from acute distress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to patients in the inpatient wards.
  • Conduct occupation-focused assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of interventions for service users.
  • Support in the assessment and discharge planning of patients, including equipment provision in the community setting.
  • Contribute to and participate in multi-disciplinary team assessments and formulations, providing specialist occupation-based advice and formulation.
  • Be a practice educator for students and participate/lead on developments within the service by using outcome measures and engaging in Quality Improvement projects.
  • Provide supervision and leadership to junior therapy staff, identifying learning and development needs in respect of their clinical skills base.
