We are seeking a Project Lead who will oversee the execution of our initiatives related to the NHS job evaluation framework.

Key Responsibilities

The individual in this role will manage and direct the implementation of specific initiatives that facilitate national discussions regarding the NHS Job Evaluation framework and issues of equitable compensation and fairness, including the coordination of the NHS Staff Council Job Evaluation Committee.

Job Duties

As a Project Lead, you will:

  • Facilitate national meetings and negotiations with key stakeholders.
  • Supervise the delivery of NHS job evaluation training programs for NHS organizations, including the coordination of a network of freelance trainers.
  • Engage with employers and stakeholders to support the execution of the initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to employers and national stakeholders on pertinent issues and contribute to the creation of resources to assist employers.

Candidate Profile

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in managing projects and achieving results within deadlines.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing demands while working under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to analyze, critique, and synthesize information for various audiences.
  • A demonstrated ability to build and sustain collaborative working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Evidence of effective use of project management methodologies and tools.
  • An understanding of current employment relations and compensation issues affecting the NHS workforce.
  • Effective teamwork skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, with a strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including SharePoint and MS Teams.
