About the Team
The Mortgage Support Team within Wealth Management Operations is recognized as a center of excellence, dedicated to supporting the Wealth Management Mortgage Business across Europe, particularly for High Net Worth clients seeking UK mortgage solutions.
This team is crucial in fostering the growth of the Wealth Management Mortgage Business and enhancing the overall client experience. This role is situated within a dynamic environment characterized by ambitious growth objectives, the development of new mortgage products, and the exploration of new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Mortgage Specialists throughout the mortgage process lifecycle.
- Prepare essential mortgage documentation, including application and offer packs, utilization requests, commencement letters, and annual mortgage statements.
- Oversee legal and valuation instructions, ensuring all completion activities meet satisfaction criteria and facilitate mortgage loan bookings.
- Engage regularly with colleagues in various locations to provide support and maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy in systems and collaborate with operations and technology teams to address exceptions.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of UK mortgage regulations and the end-to-end mortgage process.
- Adhere to JPMorgan policies and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Assist with Regulatory Reporting obligations.
- Work alongside colleagues on projects aimed at delivering new products, simplifying existing processes, and enhancing the client experience.
Qualifications
- A university degree (preferably in Law or Finance) or relevant experience in managing client credit documentation.
- Familiarity with mortgage documentation and regulations is advantageous.
- Experience in a financial institution is beneficial.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of credit and lending products.
- Aptitude for identifying process improvements and supporting their implementation.
- Proficiency in Excel is a plus.
- A strong focus on control, risk mitigation, and attention to detail.
