Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Executing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Addressing Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks while maintaining proper records.
  • Participating in a call-out rota to ensure comprehensive out-of-hours support for the client.
  • Supervising external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Exhibiting flexibility by assisting with other properties within the portfolio as needed.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures in all tasks.
  • Completing all work-related documentation in a timely and precise manner.
  • Conducting all activities in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Complying with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Daily Maintenance Tasks Include:
Daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance responsibilities encompass:

  • UPS systems and associated control systems
  • Plumbing and drainage systems
  • Boiler room inspections
  • Cooling towers
  • Fan coil units, Air Handling Units (AHUs), and Fans
  • Heating pumps

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ Mechanical Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a commercial setting
  • Experience in a healthcare or research and development environment is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of building services
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Capability to pass a DBS check
