**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Auto Electrician to join our team at Andy File Associates Limited. As a Senior Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on vehicles, including towbars, beacons, and tail lifts.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain electrical systems on vehicles, including towbars, beacons, and tail lifts.
  • Repair and replace electrical items, including alarms, immobilisers, and tracking systems.
  • Design and implement electrical systems for vehicles, including split charge systems and welfare heating, water, and power systems.
  • Research and diagnose electrical faults on vehicles.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Work methodically and pay close attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to read electrical diagrams.
  • Flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and positive relations with employees at all levels within the organisation.
  • Integrity and confidentiality regarding all processes, data, and information contained and discussed in the department.
  • Aware of all Company policies and Health and Safety procedures and practices.

**Requirements:

  • NVQ level 2 and 3 Vehicle Mechanical Activities on Electronically Propelled vehicles.
  • Light vehicle service maintenance technician.
  • Certificate in Assessing candidates performance through observation.
  • IMIAL Level 3 award in Automotive refrigerant handler.
  • EV Technician Training.
