Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a maternity contract. The successful candidate will work Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, and Friday 08:30 - 14:00, with occasional overtime required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update financial records and ledgers, ensuring accuracy across all transactions.
  • Process daily purchase invoices and credit notes, verifying prices and delivery notes.
  • Liaise with suppliers via phone and email to resolve queries and discrepancies.
  • Check supplier statements and cross-reference with internal systems to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare suggested payments and manage the accounts email inbox.
  • Agree payment dates with suppliers and perform general office duties to support the team.
