Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing structural components and systems for various construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and design of structural components and systems for various construction projects
  • Preparation of detailed design reports and documentation
  • Design of roads and understanding of construction regulations, codes, and standards
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and assess structural conditions
  • Performing calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards
  • Structural assessment of existing buildings
  • Design and understanding of drainage systems and their construction methods

  • Managing and running structural design projects with autonomy
  • Liaising with contractors, clients, and architects
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in structural or civil engineering
  • Minimum 3 years experience with exposure to British Standards, European Codes, or American Codes
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Good technical writing and presentation skills
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, standards related to structural engineering
