Accounts Receivable Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client's finance team in St. Helens. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the creation and distribution of credit notes, ensuring all adjustments and reconciliations are processed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the preparation and issuance of invoices, ensuring they are completed accurately and in accordance with established billing procedures.
  • Accurately allocate incoming cash to the appropriate accounts, ensuring timely reconciliation and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Monitor and manage overdue accounts, proactively following up on outstanding payments with a focus on minimizing risk.
  • Provide support and communicate with the wider finance team as needed.
Requirements:
  • Credit Control/Accounts Receivable experience is desirable.
  • Great communication skills to relay key information.
  • Good Excel and system skills are essential.
