- Dental Hygienist License: Possess a current dental hygienist license and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent Clinical Skills: Demonstrate a working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification: Hold current CPR certification.
- Digital Dentistry: Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care.
- Clinical Needs: Meet the clinical needs of the office as required.
- Essential Duties: Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental.
- Prolonged Sitting and Standing: Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
- Lifting and Carrying: Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Virtual Training: Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
