Based in Burnley, our client is an expanding SME in the Tech sector, seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join their team.
As a key member of the finance department, you will oversee financial controls and processes, ensuring the company's continued growth and success.
This is a part-time role, approximately 3 days per week, with the option to work from home 1-2 days if required.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the MD and board to develop growth strategies, ensuring compliance with UK and International accounting regulations.
- Prepare management accounts for board meetings, providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
- Work with external advisors to ensure compliance and provide expert advice when needed.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Oversee transactional duties, including payroll, and ensure efficient financial processes.
- Support European growth initiatives, handling currencies, VAT, accounts, and other related tasks.
- ACCA/CIMA qualified or QBE equivalent.
- Proven experience in an SME environment, with a strong understanding of financial controls and processes.
- Desirable: European/International VAT/Accounting experience, XERO proficiency, and a keen desire to progress in the role.
