We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our team at BSG Ecology, a leading independent ecological consultancy in the UK.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Ecologist to work with a diverse range of clients, including heritage, renewable energy, residential, leisure, and minerals projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ecological surveys and assessments for various projects
• Develop and implement ecological management plans
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects
• Stay up-to-date with current and evolving wildlife policy and legislation
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-time experience working in ecological consultancy
• Broad ecological skill-set and protected species licenses
• Working knowledge of current and evolving wildlife policy and legislation
• Confidence in written and verbal communication
• Project management and client liaison skills
• Enthusiasm for ecology and the environment in the UK
• Desire to promote high professional standards in ecology
• Organized approach to work, flexibility, and high level of motivation
• Good BSc and/or MSc in a relevant subject
• Full driving license and access to own transport
