Site Manager - Retrofit Projects

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple retrofit projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while meeting the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage onsite retrofit projects, working with contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with Building Control regulations and all statutory legislation.
  • Oversee installations of energy-efficient measures, ensuring buildings meet sustainability standards and health & safety standards are maintained.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and residents, ensuring clear communication and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, residents, and internal teams.
  • Attend meetings and provide project updates in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with auditing and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience in site management, particularly within social housing and refurbishment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and housing legislation, including Section 20 leaseholder consultation.
  • Ability to manage communication across various stakeholders, including supply chain partners, clients, and residents.
  • Experience handling and resolving complaints efficiently and effectively.
  • Sound understanding of project governance and risk management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • SMSTS qualification
  • CSCS card in site management
  • Relevant building or trade qualification
  • Asbestos Awareness certification
  • Full driving licence
