Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Response Assistant to join our team at Central Medical Services. As an Emergency Response Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergencies and events, providing patients with potentially life-saving care and transportation to hospital.
- Assist qualified practitioners in the delivery of high-quality clinical and personal care to patients.
- Carry out allocated operational duties, supporting the provision of clinical, social, and holistic care to patients.
- Drive approved ambulance vehicles under normal and blue light circumstances, adhering to service standards and road traffic law.
- Maintain a competent working knowledge of medical and life support equipment, assisting qualified practitioners as needed.
- Support qualified practitioners in scene safety checks and risk assessments, working with other healthcare or emergency services staff.
Requirements
- FREC Level 3 and FREC Level 4 qualifications.
- Recognized blue light qualification, such as IHCD / Level 3 Emergency Response Ambulance Driving.
- Full UK Clean Driving Licence with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
