Citigroup Global Markets Limited is seeking a highly skilled Valuation Control Specialist to join our Finance team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely valuation of financial instruments, as well as identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform valuation control processes for various Rates businesses within Citi's Institutional Clients Group
- Validate market data inputs, report, and analyze valuation results
- Develop and implement methodologies for valuation adjustments, price testing, and fair value levelling
- Ensure timely remediation of regulatory matters, audit findings, and reporting demands
- Identify pricing issues, valuation parameters, or instrument types requiring attention
- Lead global, cross-functional projects and act as a business partner to the Business, Risk, Compliance, and Finance teams
- Suitable Finance experience, preferably in Valuations, Product Control, Risk, Financial Control, or similar functions
- Solid Capital Markets product knowledge, with special regards to Rates derivatives
- Strong understanding of current global accounting and regulatory developments pertaining to valuation of financial instruments
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently across functions and departments
- Strong computer literacy with special regards to Microsoft Excel (VBA and Python being a plus)
- University or College degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or a similar relevant discipline; Master's degree preferred
