Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement safe operational procedures that take into account all relevant hazards and ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Perform regular site inspections to monitor the effectiveness of our health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice on health and safety issues and risks to managers and employees.
  • Keep up-to-date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and industry developments.
  • Prepare management reports, newsletters, and bulletins to communicate health and safety information to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Qualification in occupational health and safety, such as a masters, NVQ, BSC, or NEBOSH national diploma.
  • COSHH Trained.
  • Proven experience in formulating, implementing, and revising health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Experience of ISO and TISAX certification requirements is advantageous.
