About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Weekend Culinary Specialist to join the A2Dominion Group as part of our catering team. As a Weekend Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and delivering a high-quality catering service at our retirement housing scheme, providing exceptional meals for our residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead our service to prepare and cook meals for our busy restaurant service, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Provide high-quality meals catering for our residents and guests, taking responsibility for particular dietary and cultural needs as per resident food profiles.
- Complete administrative documentation, recording meals sold and reporting resident feedback to the Culinary Manager.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety legislation/guidelines.
- Take responsibility for own time management, working with colleagues and maintain the standards set by the Culinary Manager.
Requirements
- Previous catering and hands-on food preparation experience is essential.
- Ideally, you will have a culinary qualification and/or experience working in a care and support environment, or cooking experience for large volumes of people.
- Ability to engage with elderly vulnerable customers and their families.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with completing online training.
