Job Duties:The Supporting Education Professionals will assist teachers in delivering educational programs, support classroom management, and provide one-on-one support to students. Responsibilities include preparing materials for lessons, supervising students during activities, and maintaining a tidy and organized learning environment.
Required Qualifications:Applicants must have a minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. A relevant teaching assistant qualification is preferred but not essential.
Education:A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Additional qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.
Experience:Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable. Experience working with children or young people is beneficial.
Knowledge and Skills:Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work well in a team. Basic knowledge of educational principles and practices. Proficiency in using relevant software and technology.
Preferred Qualifications:A recognized teaching assistant qualification. Additional qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) or safeguarding children.
Working Conditions:The role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The Supporting Education Professionals may need to support students with varying needs and abilities. The position is part-time and temporary, with the possibility of extension based on performance and school requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
