About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pension Trustee Manager to join our in-house team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely, with occasional visits to our Warwickshire office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the needs of the Trustee Boards of our UK pension schemes are met
  • Act as Trustee Secretary, preparing Board papers, taking minutes, and following up actions
  • Manage the Trustee Services function, including accounting and pensions projects
  • Manage relationships with pension administrators for our UK defined benefit pension arrangements
  • Manage the payment of benefits for our defined benefit and defined contribution pension arrangements
  • Provide support to the Pensions Manager on strategic pension and benefit projects
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and maintain good governance for each plan
  • Support the Pensions Manager with the DC governance committee and manage the DC plan
  • Organize and carry out adviser reviews on behalf of the Trustee and manage the tender process
About You
  • Education level, professional qualifications, and vocational training
  • APMI qualification is desirable
  • At least 10 years' experience in the pensions environment with significant exposure to Trustee Boards
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with a high level of discipline
