Test Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team at TCS on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role will focus on thorough testing of individual components and end-to-end user journeys for optimal performance.

• Test Script Creation and Execution
  • Create and execute detailed test scripts for user stories, focusing on manual testing of individual components and complete user journeys.
  • Document test results, develop high-quality test plans, and ensure all testing activities meet requirements and mitigate potential risks.
• UAT Support and Collaboration
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and work closely with business analysts, developers, and other team members within an Agile framework.
  • Participate in stakeholder demos, providing updates on testing progress and advocating for QA best practices.
• Test Management and Reporting
  • Ensure testing is completed on time, review and manage test logs, and provide technical guidance to project managers.
  • Record test outcomes and manage defect logs using Azure DevOps and other test management tools.
• Automated Testing and Process Improvement
  • Implement automated testing strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the testing process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous quality assurance initiatives.
• Technical Guidance and Best Practices
  • Apply QA best practices throughout the testing lifecycle, from planning to execution.
  • Coach others to support testing efforts and share knowledge of testing methodologies.

• Experience
  • Proven experience in end-to-end testing, including functional and integration testing.
  • Strong manual testing experience, with expertise in conducting UAT support.
  • Experience implementing automated testing processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with testing integrations within various business systems.
• Skills
  • Proficiency in functional and non-functional testing within an agile program.
  • Experience in administering finance or customer-related business systems.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and test/defect management tools.
