Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at NRL Recruitment. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

• Ensure accurate cost and value reporting and forecasting to mitigate adverse financial impacts
• Ensure effective capture of costs and allocation of costs
• Identify and report commercial risk, such as early warning notices, and implement mitigation strategies
• Assist the Commercial Manager in determining operational commercial reporting requirements and work with the Performance Reporting & Systems team and Finance to ensure accurate, meaningful, and timely reporting
• Self-assure commercial data and contractual processes
• Anticipate sub-contracting requirements and ensure robust sub-contracts are put in place
• Embed commercial awareness across the alliance to enable prudent commercial decisions
• Establish and embed key commercial performance metrics and baselines
• Act as mediator in the resolution of contractual and financial disputes
• Ensure timely and accurate management of team through Workday

• Proven experience in quantity surveying and commercial management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
