Our charity, the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children, has been making a difference since 2005, supporting children and families in need across nearly 100 locations. Each team member is entitled to a paid volunteer day annually.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist nursery staff in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) by engaging children in enjoyable and educational activities, promoting their development and ensuring their safety.
- Collaborate with the team to complete essential daily tasks in accordance with nursery requirements, including hygiene standards and room setup.
- Uphold child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding practices.
- Foster a positive, happy, and secure environment for all children.
What We Seek
- Experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory; suitable backgrounds include roles such as Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nanny, or Childminder.
- A genuine passion for making learning enjoyable and engaging for every child.
- Proficiency in various communication techniques with both children and adults.
- A solid understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
