Michael Page Finance is seeking a skilled Payroll Tax Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will work with a large public sector organization based in central London, with the option to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
The Payroll Tax Specialist will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the accuracy of payroll tax data
- Implementing process improvements to prevent errors in the future
- Collaborating closely with the Payroll Manager to achieve shared goals
- Staying up-to-date with BIK rates and their impact on staff
- Reviewing and updating payroll information to ensure compliance
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HMRC tax rates and their effects on staff, as well as excellent attention to detail to identify errors quickly. Previous experience in a similar role, dealing with employment tax and BIK, is highly desirable.
Remuneration
The Payroll Tax Specialist will be paid £450 PAYE/£550 umbrella per day, with the option to work remotely. The contract will be for an initial 3-6 months.
